Walla Walla Tasting Room and Restaurant to Open in Downtown Woodinville, WA
Valdemar Estates is Bringing Fine Wine and Spanish Tapas to Woodinville’s Schoolhouse District in the Spring of 2022
The Schoolhouse District in Woodinville, Washington is located in the heart of downtown. The five-acre project includes adaptive reuse of the historic Schoolhouse No. 23 Building and provides a first-of-its-kind destination in Woodinville. Modern architecture, art and public pathways inhabit the space around the repurposed schoolhouse. With an underground parking garage containing 400 stalls, the transformative Schoolhouse District’s mixed-use development offers a truly unique experience for both visitors and residents.
“We didn’t want to open just another tasting room in Woodinville, we wanted to offer something special to the community, and I think that is what we’re doing with our new location in The Schoolhouse District.”
– Jesús Martínez Bujanda, 5th Generation CEO of The Valdemar Family

By opening a tasting room and restaurant in a residential neighborhood, we aim to provide a world-class wine and food experience for all to enjoy.
“Whether it’s exclusive access to wine, private events, or complimentary flights, our new location has a lot to offer current and future club members living on the west side of the state.”
The Valdemar Family has been making wines in La Rioja, Spain for more than five generations and plans to continue their heritage of quality winemaking in Walla Walla for five generations to come.
Expect the doors to open in the early Spring of 2022.
“Heavy traffic and long commutes make the conventional wine tasting experience in Woodinville less than ideal. Access to The Schoolhouse District, by contrast, is simple and straightforward.”
