Entering the Tasting Room

Thank you so much for joining us. This video will provide details on how to get to the tasting room and restaurant on the top floor of the winery.

If you are in a vehicle that stops to let you out at the pull in area, please be aware that there is a high curb between the pavement and the sidewalk. If you exit the vehicle from the passenger side, walk to your left a few steps then turn right and walk forward through the entry way. If you are in a vehicle that parks in one of the two handicap parking spots, there is an offloading area and a ramp onto the sidewalk between the two spots. Once you reach the sidewalk, walk to your right. The entry way will be to your left.

The entry way is about 90 feet long and 10 feet wide. It is flanked by concrete walls, and there are planters positioned along the walls. There is a large door at the end of the entry way. To the right of the door is a large, square button that opens the door. From the door, an antique basket press lies 15 steps in front of you. This wine press is a family heirloom brought from Spain. It is 4 feet wide and 7 feet tall. The press is cordoned off with four stanchions connected by rope. The stanchion on the right side of the basket press has a sign on top. There is a QR code on this sign that provides a link to a video that relates a description of the press and its history. To access this link, launch your mobile phone camera and point it at the QR code.

The tasting room and restaurant are on the top floor of the facility. If you step to the left of the basket press and walk forward 5 steps, you will find the elevator. The button to call the elevator is on the right side of the door at the bottom of a panel. Inside the elevator, the buttons are on the right as you face the doors. Press the button marked “2” to get to the tasting room. Be aware that as you exit the elevator, there is an open stairwell behind you to your left. Once you arrive at the top floor, the seating area is directly ahead of you. A host will greet you and take you to your table.

From the ground floor, you may also take the stairs to the tasting room. If you step to the right of the basket press and walk forward 5 steps, you will find the stairs. The first flight of 19 stairs leads you to a mezzanine. Mounted on the mezzanine wall ahead of you is a large Chardonnay vine. To the left of the vine is a sign displaying a poem. The sign has a QR code that provides a link to a video with ASL and dictated renditions of the poem. If you turn around, the second flight of 19 stairs to the tasting room ascends on your right. Once you arrive at the top floor, the seating area is directly ahead of you. A host will greet you and take you to your table.

From the top of the stairs or the elevator doors, the restrooms are to your right. Off the main hall, there is a short hallway to the right. In this short hallway, there is an alcove with two drinking fountains on your left. Facing the fountains, the men’s restroom door is to the left, and the women’s restroom door is to the right.

A tasting room associate will be dedicated to your table and will provide any assistance you may need.

Enjoy your visit!
