Woodinville, WA - The Valdemar Family who have been making wine since 1889, owners of the prestigious Bodegas Valdemar in Rioja, Spain, and Valdemar Estates in Walla Walla, WA, are delighted to announce the highly anticipated opening of Pintxo by Valdemar, a new tapas, cocktail, and wine bar in Woodinville, WA. Set to open its doors on September 6, 2023, Pintxo by Valdemar promises to captivate the senses with its delectable offerings and genuine hospitality.

Formerly President of an independent restaurant company in Ohio, Reed developed some of the state's most popular bar/restaurant concepts, including a Forbes Top 100 Restaurants in America awardee. After developing concepts in Columbus, OH; Silicon Valley, CA; and Austin, TX, he now oversees stateside operations for the Valdemar Family. His passion for genuine hospitality and concept development will undoubtedly elevate the experience at Pintxo by Valdemar. Reed has tapped some incredible talent to create this new concept.

Chefs Brian Massie & Ren Caceres

Together, Chef Brian Massie and Chef Ren Caceres bring an extraordinary culinary expertise to Pintxo by Valdemar. Chef Brian Massie, with his distinguished career and recognition from James Beard Foundation, Food Network programs, and more, is renowned for creating iconic dining destinations across Las Vegas, Miami, and Dubai. Meanwhile, Chef Ren Caceres, with an international culinary background and a penchant for using local seasonal ingredients, has proven his ability to lead high-volume restaurants to success. Both chefs have shared stints at several 3 Michelin-star restaurants across the globe. Their creative flair and attention to detail will ensure that every dish at Pintxo by Valdemar is a tantalizing work of art.

Paul Ramon

As an esteemed and sought after Beverage Director in Austin, Texas, Paul Ramon's passion for mixology and his quest to create unique guest experiences have earned him accolades and recognition within the industry, including being named one of the top 50 bartenders in the US. Paul's innovative approach to crafting beverages will bring an exciting twist to the cocktail menu at Pintxo by Valdemar.

The Valdemar Family, in collaboration with these exceptional talents, has curated a culinary haven that combines the traditional flavors of Spain, with the innovative spirit of Washington State. Pintxo by Valdemar will offer an exquisite tapas menu featuring Spanish classics infused with Pacific Northwest ingredients, a curated wine selection showcasing both sides of the Family’s portfolio in Spain and Washington, and an artisanal cocktail menu that pushes the boundaries of mixology.
