Block 34, the only block of Malbec at Seven Hills Vineyard, rests on the windy western edge and is well-known and regarded for yielding smaller clusters with vibrant color and thick, juicy skin tannins.

Winemaking Notes

Fermented in steel with 18 days of skin contact. Cap management consisted of pump-overs twice daily, with mid-day punch downs during the middle stretch of fermentation. Aged for 16 months in 50% second use and 50% neutral French oak.

Tasting Notes

Intense and pure aromas of blackberry jam, mulberry, sage, and mocha. Fresh flavors of blueberry jam, cassis, and hazelnuts with a long, elegant, and lasting finish.
