The Alto Cantabria vineyard lies on plateau above the Ebro River, where vines planted in 1975 root into limestone and sandy loam. The Singular Vineyard designation is only given to places with distinctive quality.

Winemaking Notes

Harvested by hand. Fermentation in stainless steel and French oak. Stirred weekly and aged on the lees in barrels for 6 months.   

Tasting Notes

Aromas of white flowers, stone fruits, pear, hazelnut, and smoke. In the mouth it is complex, honeyed, fresh, with a savory and salty quality, characteristic of the limestone soil.
