The 16.7-acre Stoney Vine Vineyard was planted in 2007 in the Rocks District. With fewer than 350 acres planted here, the fruit is scarce and highly valued.

Winemaking Notes

Harvested September 18 at 24.3 brix, fermented for 20 days at cool temperature to preserve the fruit, and aged 12 months in 22% new and 78% neutral French oak. 

Tasting Notes

Dense and complex, this gorgeous wine from intensely rocky terroir is expressive yet structured. Superb aromatics of black licorice, mulberry, coffee, and earth. Flavors of ripe raspberry and chocolate. A lush finish and medium weight.
